While in my self-proclaimed fitness rut (that let’s be honest I’m still in a bit), I started doing a 30 day yoga challenge. If you are curious about yoga, kind of new to it, or even if you are very practiced, I highly recommend you check it out!
The host, Erin, is great to watch. She explains everything so well, and she sounds so gentle and calming while you’re doing it. She is just so sweet, is it weird that I kind of want to be her friend? Yeah that’s a little bit weird…
I have gone through the challenge twice already in the last few months and I think I’m going to start it back up once I get all settled. The videos are only about 20 minutes long (so it won’t take up a huge chunk of your day) and all you need is a yoga mat! Except for a while I didn’t have a yoga mat so I just used a beach towel on the carpet. It still worked just fine, but it seems much more legit now that I have my mat!
Once I get a little better, I want to venture out and try a few yoga classes in the area and find one that I really like. But I want to try and get the crow pose down a little better first. I would like to avoid falling down in a studio!
